I’ve always loved the saying “always be a student”. I took that saying to heart when I decided to take my interest in yoga to the next level. I received my 200-hour YTT certification with Lex Gillan and The Yoga Institute in 2018, then got my certification to teach Kids Yoga from Shaka Power Yoga in 2019, and I’m registered with the National Association of Certified Yoga Teachers.
I took my first yoga class in 2004 in a popular fitness gym and I hated every minute of it. It wasn’t until years later that I finally accepted the fact that I am stronger than I am flexible. I took my first power yoga class and I never looked back! My focus is to always lead students through a powerful yoga experience that will benefit them on and off the mat.
When I’m not on my yoga mat I love to spend time with my husband and two boys; we are a movie loving family, so you can find us at the nearest theater sharing popcorn. I have a full time day job in IT, I love reading inspirational books and listening to podcast, and my happy place is in any hammock!
