I first tried yoga over a decade ago and thought that it would never be something that would benefit my lifestyle. Then many years later I decided to give it another try and wished I had begun my journey all those years ago. I threw myself into my practice attending class 5 to 6 days a week, really focusing on alignment and breath work. I then realized that yoga NEEDED to be a part of my life forever and rewarded myself with getting my yoga teacher certification.
At The Woodlands Yoga Studio I completed my RYT-200 certification through Yoga Alliance lead by my amazing teachers Sue Brooks, Karen Henderson, and Liz Hoffman. Yoga has brought a sense of peace over my mind and body that has been building stronger every day since beginning my practice and I cannot imagine life without it. I will forever be a student of yoga as I continue to incorporate it into all aspects of life.
In my classes I like to encourage my students to be aware of their own alignment and breath while also providing a good challenge and exciting sequences. Giving each student the ability to continue to build and develop a personal practice.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is one of my most important continuing goals. Outside of yoga I enjoy spending time with family and friends, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, strength training, learning a plethora of different things, and making homemade food.
I can’t wait to see you in class!
