Hey there! I’m Amber McNutt and I have been practicing all different types yoga, primarily hot vinyasa, Ashtanga, and aerial, for over ten years. After several times of talking myself out of it, I finally decided it was time to make the sharing of my love for yoga official by completing my yoga teacher training. So, I quit my career as a special education teacher and jumped in full force.
I received my training from April Fort through LifePower Yoga created by Johnny Kest. This experience was way more than learning new poses and and how to cue, it was truly humbling and life changing. I realized I had only scratched the surface of what yoga is. I will forever be a life long learner on and off the mat!
I teach a quick-paced, challenging, and sweat-inducing class to upbeat and fun tunes! However, anyone is welcome from beginner to pro-athlete looking for a challenge! You can expect a balanced practice including traditional yoga warm-ups, creative flows, a moment of challenge for a final push, and a calm, surrendering stretch session packed with inspiration and motivation! I believe that how you handle yourself on the mat is the way you will handle yourself off the mat. So come find out who you really are and what you are really capable of!
